The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office is investigating the death of 42 year old Deborah Ann Gray of Spartanburg. Gray along with family members were swimming at the Days Inn pool located at 101 Outlet Drive in Spartanburg on Saturday.
One of Gray’s family members suffered from a cramp. Gray then entered the water to assist and after both had exited the pool Gray collapsed. She was taken to Spartanburg Regional where she was pronounced dead. An autopsy has been scheduled along with toxicology test to assist in determining the cause and manner of death.
