"Bieber fever" hits Greenville.
Teen pop star Justin Bieber is performing at the BiLo Center.
And yes, the show went on despite worries that bad weather would delay or cancel the concert.
The 16-year-old is native of Ontario, Canada. According to Billboard.com, Bieber was discovered after winning a local singing competition in 2007. He posted videos on YouTube, and caught the attention of "So So Def" marketing executive Scooter Braun. Braun helped Bieber Get an audition with R&B star Usher. At 15, Bieber signed a recording contract. His first album "My World" was released in November 2009.
Now, Bieber is selling out tickets in venues across the country.
Thursday's show was sold out, and an upcoming show in Atlanta is also sold out.
